Principal’s welcome

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Hoi An International School located in the heart of the ancient town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I cannot express how excited we are to be opening our doors to the greater Hoi An community during our inaugural 2018-2019 academic year.

Hoi An International School is a student centered, community environment designed to help children find their passions, achieve their goals and build their personal identities. We have designed a purpose built campus to provide the best possible learning environment for our students, families, teachers, as well as the greater Hoi An community. Your children are our most important resource, therefore, we have ensured that our campus, teachers, and staff meet international standards for safety and child protection.

Our team of dedicated, passionate educators has been selected to deliver a high quality education to our students. We have a diverse and truly international staff, bringing with them fresh ideas, best practice, and a wide range of personal passions. Our curriculum is designed to allow students to acquire knowledge, build understanding, develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in order to prepare them for the 21st century. We also aim to instill within them a passion for lifelong learning, a respect for diversity, and a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

Our team is looking forward to meeting you at school, as well as at the exciting community events we will be organizing. We hope to see you at our monthly coffee mornings to get to know each other and build our community.

Best wishes for the 2018-2019 academic year.
