What is the difference between the International Programme and the Bilingual Programme?

The International Programme follows the Cambridge Curriculum, an internationally recognized standard in both primary and secondary education. In the International Programme, children are instructed in English while also receiving 5 hours of Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Literature lessons per week.

The Bilingual Programme follows a modified version of the Vietnamese National Curriculum with the benefit of 5 hours of concentrated English instruction. In addition, bilingual students will combine with the international students for all single subjects. The language of instruction will be in English.

Will my child need to take an entrance exam to register at HAIS?

No, there is no formal entrance exam to register at HAIS. However, some students may be required to take a placement test to determine their level of English or Vietnamese.

Will HAIS provide a bus service?

Yes, HAIS will provide a bus service to and from the following locations: An Bang, Cam Chau, Cam Thanh, Da Nang. Each destination will have a common pick up and drop off point.

Is HAIS a nut free school?

No, we are not a nut free environment.

Does the HAIS canteen accomodate for any special dietary needs?

Yes. The canteen will prepare fresh and healthy gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.
