After School Activities

Our exciting list of activities on offer for the third term.

We are happy to announce that our ASA’s Programme will take part from the 9th of September till 29th of November (11 weeks). All the activities will run from 4pm till 5pm. The submission procedure will take part in until the 3rd of September.

Combo kiddie (3-5 years) Ms. Clara

March, jump, clap and become aware of rhythm by interacting with the others kids!

 


Additional English Lessons (6-9 years) Ms. Steve

Have fun while learning – using games and books.

 


Fundamental rhythms applied to the drum set (6-9 years) Mr. Joshua

Begin your musical journey learning the history, the rhythm and improving your ability to play the drums.

 


Basketball (10-15 years) Mr. Jeremy

Developing basic skills with fun games while learning to shoot hoops, dribble, improve hand eye-coordination and more importantly to work as a team.

 


Advanced french-speaking course (16+) Ms. Diana

Intermediate/advanced learners will gain more confidence by enriching their vocabulary.

Mandarin Language (3-6 years) Ms. Bella

Interactive learning based on communication, movies and fun games.

 


Circus skills and crafts (6-9 years) Ms. Kelsey

These skills allow your child to express themselves, improve their physical and mental abilities through activities such as hula-hooping, juggling, tumbling, and stretching. This activity also includes the making of circus equipment.

 


Modern Dance (8+) Ms. Clara

Students learn organic movement and how to express themselves through dance.

 


Badminton (8+) Mr. Jeff

It’s your serve! Come and try out for the competitive HAIS Badminton team.

 


Elementary French (16+) Ms. Diana

It’s a perfect activity for those who have never taken French lessons before. These classes allows you to learn a new language through fun and interactive learning.

Chess/Board Game Club (5-10 years) Mr. David

Chance to have fun and build relationships and social skills in a low key environment.

 


Hip-Hop (8+) Ms. Clara

Learn how to dance, increase confidence levels and to use self-expression through dance.

Modern Visual Art: Quilling (7+) Ms. Anna

Learn how to combine different colours, shapes and create your own 3D projects.

Art from the Heart Club (5+) Ms. Maura

Developing self-awareness and self-expression through art (using programmes such as Yoga 4 Classrooms and Zones of Regulation).

Interactive learning based on communication, movies and fun games.

 


Roots of Pop Music (11+) Mr. Dan

The kids will have a chance to share the music they like (rock, dance, motown, metal reggae. etc.) and learn the history of where it all began.

 


Archery (12+) Mr. Jo

Practice correct form and work on mindfulness as well as meditative techniques, while learning to shoot arrows at targets.

Martial Arts and fitness (8+) Mr. Brett

Students will build confidence and self-discipline while enjoying engaging physical activity. Instruction will be given in both punch and kick techniques. Classes will be provided in the gym next to the school.

 


Ballet Mini (5-7 years) Ms. Clara

Introduction into ballet dance, which enhances student posture while learning a graceful form of movement.

  • HAIS students – 1,320,000VND (1 activity per week * 11 weeks)
  • Outside students – 1,650,000VND (1 activity per week * 11 weeks)

Some ASA’s may have an additional cost for consumables.

Availability of bus transport for after school activities is pending enrollment.
