Today our International and Bilingual Pre/Grade 1 and Grade 2 classes went on a very important field trip. They have been working on jobs in the community and this has created a huge interest in running a Candy Shop! They visited Refillables Hoi An to see a store with a difference. They quickly discovered there were no containers or bags at the store. They decided that this was better for the environment and also kept the prices lower for the consumer. They were each able to purchase some products that they can bring home and share the message with their parents. They also made the connection with our upcoming Flea Market and promised not to use plastic bags at their booth. Talk about the Learner Profile in action! Thank you Alison Ross for having us and sharing your passion for the environment!
