The HAIS Primary Years Programme is a wonderful environment for our students ranging from Grade 2 to Grade 6 to build on their curious nature. Students are encouraged to ask questions and seek answers, not only through their teachers, but through discussions with their peers, research, members of the community and experts in particular fields. Taking risks and making mistakes are both integral parts of the learning process while building a growth mindset.
HAIS is proud to be a candidate school offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) focuses on the growth of the whole child. The PYP focuses on the social, physical, emotional and cultural needs of each student in addition to their academic growth and achievement. The PYP framework offers a unique learning environment to prepare students for life.
