The first weeks of the school year are filled with opportunities to reconnect, discover, celebrate, and create new memories together. Here are some important dates to add to your calendar as we begin another exciting chapter at HAIS.
August 12th - ‘Drop in and say Hi!’ (optional)
Before the first day of school, families are warmly invited to visit campus, meet our new teachers, purchase uniforms, or arrange a meeting with Learning leads. It's also a wonderful chance to explore what's new around the school before the excitement begins.
August 13th - First Day of Term 1
The first chapter begins!
We can't wait to welcome our students back to campus for another year of learning, friendship, and discovery. Whether you're joining HAIS for the first time or returning to familiar faces, we're excited to see our school buzzing with energy once again.
As always, Principal Brett will be at the school gate from 8:00 am to welcome students and families.

On September 9th and 10th we will hold information evenings for parents to learn more about our programme, receive handbooks, and offer discussion points on forward planning. More information to come.
September 10th – Dot Day (observed)
Creativity begins with a single mark.
Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ The Dot, students across the school will celebrate creativity, courage, and self-expression through collaborative art experiences that remind us every great story starts with one small step.
September 25th – Mid-Autumn Festival
One of our favourite community celebrations returns! Students will enjoy activities inspired by this much-loved Vietnamese tradition, celebrating culture, creativity, and togetherness.
Every school year is a new chapter waiting to be written. We look forward to seeing each student discover new passions, embrace new opportunities, and continue writing their own unique story at HAIS.
