HAIS Students Shine at the Harmony Tree International Speech Festival Asia Finals
Confidence, creativity, and countless hours of preparation came together on the international stage as four HAIS students competed in the Harmony Tree International Speech Festival Asia Division 2025-2026 Finals. Joining talented young performers from across Asia, they showcased not only their communication and performance skills, but also the courage to express themselves with confidence and authenticity in an international speech competition. Behind every performance were weeks of rehearsals, thoughtful feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Stepping onto an international stage takes resilience, and each student embraced the challenge with determination and enthusiasm. We are delighted to celebrate their achievements: Jade - 2nd Place, Monologue (2007-2009) Charlotte - 3rd Place, Prose Reading (2010-2011) Samantha - 4th Place, Prose Reading (2012-2013) Erika - 6th Place, Prose Reading (2012-2013) While these awards recognise outstanding performances, they also reflect something even more meaningful: the confidence, perseverance, and personal growth developed throughout the journey. Experiences like these help students strengthen their communication skills, think creatively, and discover what they are capable of achieving.

A special thank you to Ms Jennifer, whose guidance, encouragement, and passion for drama supported our students every step of the way. Her dedication helped each performer find their own voice and step onto the stage with confidence.

Congratulations to Jade, Charlotte, Samantha, and Erika on representing Hoi An International School with such creativity, confidence, and grace. Their achievements are a wonderful reminder that success is not only measured by results, but also by the courage to embrace new challenges, keep learning, and grow through every experience.
